Rang De Basanti
Well...initially just by hearing the name of the moview I thought it to be another variant of the innumerable number of movies that have been made on the legendary Bhagat Singh...then someone told me that it is a Aamir Khan's movie...it was this that made me go to the theatre to have a peek at the movie..
And man!! I have no regrets...I liked the movie a lot...the film maker has successfully potrayed the history with the current problems that out country face in a very hip manner...no doubt it is a thought provoking movie...It challenges the current status quo in our country and compellsthe current generation to THINK!!
All in all it was a great experience and a movie which should not be missed by any INDIAN!!

The coolest one...Google...Google and Google...

Google.........undoubedtly the coolest! They never fail to surprise me, coming out with some of the snazziest things they keep coming up from time to time! I am so hooked onto the innumerable things they have...Search engine which can search whatever you can ever think of, Gmail which is changing the way people use email, orkut - it has helped me re-ignite the connections with so many of my lost friends, Google Earth - had made possible to le me see my home sitting miles away from it.....the list goes on and on...
There is something unique about whatever they launch. Everything is BIG and makes a statement. It seems this is now a part of the Google culture...I just hope they continue their journey towards excellence and keep throwing such amazing gifts to the WWW...

Tennis - well I never thought I would be playing this game so passionately..until just a few days back...I don't exactly remeber how it happened but it is now actually a part of my life over here. 2 hours of tennis everyday which sometimes extends even upto 4 hours takes most of my evening time here. Well, it is definitely a very good hobby and currently the only means of some phsical exercise for me :-)

Hope to continue this hobby for the coming times as well....lets hope for the best!!

I am writing a blog after quite some time....But as the saying goes...'Better Late than Never' so here I am back again...
It's a long weekend here and for a change I am at home...Relaxing...Chilling out...Listening to my favorite music...
It actually feels good to just relax at home for 3 days...I think it has got it's own charm...Just as the charm of seeing new places and exploring unkown territories...
You can actually take out time for yourself..introspect and cmplete pending tasks at your own pace...

Pink Floyd

It's not just a rock band but it's a phenomenon...there is something about Pink Floys that is unique. Undoubtely one of the best bands in the history of music so far. I started listening to Pink Floyd when I was in school and totally got involved into it by the time I was in my 2nd year of college. I have listened to the same songs over and oover again and I beleive can listen to them forever....So here is a brief about "the" band

The band was formed in 1965 in UK. The band name comes from two bluesmen: Pink Anderson (1900-74) and Floyd Council (1911-76). The songs of the album which took the world by the storm - 'Dark Side of the Moon' have got one of the best music and lyrics. One of the top-selling rock groups in history, Pink Floyd was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.

My first blog

Life is tough and so I thought to create my own blog site...just to ease out things. Well, I am totally new to blogging and have not gone through many blog sites before. I don't know whether I would be able to maintain this religiously, but nonetheless here I publish my first blog...in an attempt to pen down my ideas, my views, my likes, my dislikes, my worries, my concerns, my memories and .....

My interests revolve around Rock Music, Travelling, Hiking and "The Internet"...so many of my writings would have a flavour of these interests inherently....hope to add on to this list as time progresses...
